Sustainability isn’t just a nice afterthought at the University of Montevallo—it’s an active passion.
That’s why UM has teamed up with the City of Montevallo to place big blue recycling containers in most buildings and classrooms on campus and encourages students to do their part to make a difference. The three-stream system accepts 1) All paper and cardboard types, 2) all #1, #2, and #5 plastics, and 3) aluminum and mixed metals.
